Terms of use

The service

toa.ee is a branded link shortener. You get a short URL that redirects to a destination you choose. The service is operated from the EU (Estonia). These terms are in English.

Try-it links on the landing page expire after 24 hours unless you create an account in the same browser and we attach them to it.

Your links

You are responsible for the destination. Do not shorten malware, phishing, scams, spam, or anything illegal. We screen new destinations against Google Safe Browsing and may block a link that looks unsafe.

Anyone can report a short link at /report. Reports are queued for review. After 3 independent reports we turn the link off automatically.

We may disable or delete links that harm the domain's reputation. Disabled links stop redirecting. Soft-deleted slugs are released immediately so anyone can claim the short name again.

Accounts and billing

Free is 3 links and 30-day analytics. Pro is €4.99/mo or €49.99/year. Max is €19.99/mo. Billed by Stripe. We turn a paid plan on only after Stripe confirms payment — never from the checkout redirect.

If you cancel or move to a lower plan, links within the new cap stay. Extras stay live for 30 days — uneditable, with analytics — then we delete them. You can delete a link yourself only after 24 hours.

Acceptable use

No shortener-to-shortener nesting, no scraping that degrades the service, and no using toa.ee to hide a destination people would not click if they saw it.

Redirects are the product. Do not attempt to overload them. We rate-limit anonymous and signed-in creation.
